SPS Corals – Small Polyp Stony Corals
Often referred to as hard corals due to their primarily rigid skeletons with minimal flesh and tiny feeding polyps, SPS corals demand special care.
These corals require frequent replenishment of elements like calcium and alkalinity because their dense skeletal structure consumes increasing amounts as they grow. They also need higher, randomized water flow ranging from medium to strong, along with more intense lighting, depending on the species.

- Be sure to include clear photographic evidence of the coral in its original, unopened bag/container.
